What is an air-layer fabric?→
An air-layer fabric uses two knitted surfaces with internal space between them. This structured middle layer gives the fabric more volume, cushioning and shape than a conventional flat knit while retaining flexibility for active movement.
What are the benefits of using 24% LYCRA® fibre?→
The 24% LYCRA® content supports high elasticity, close-body comfort and reliable shape recovery during repeated movement. It allows the fabric to follow the body while helping fitted garments retain their intended shape after stretching.
How is A3849 different from conventional nylon-spandex fabric?→
A3849 combines branded LYCRA® fibre with an air-layer construction rather than using a conventional flat nylon-spandex structure. This provides a distinctive balance of flexible recovery, cushioning, garment shape and reduced bulk.
What garments are suitable for A3849?→
A3849 is recommended for sports bras, yoga leggings, fitted yoga tops, activewear hoodies, lightweight jackets and coordinated athleisure sets. Its combination of structure and stretch supports both close-fitting garments and light outer layers.
What information should buyers provide when requesting a quotation?→
Buyers should provide the selected colour, estimated quantity, garment application, required recycled-content documents, testing standards, destination and delivery schedule. They should also state whether they need sample yardage, custom dyeing or a Transaction Certificate so MOQ, price and lead time can be calculated accurately.
