What is bio-based PA56 nylon?→
PA56 is a type of polyamide in which part of the raw material can be derived from renewable biological feedstocks. It provides the softness, strength and flexibility required for activewear while supporting reduced reliance on entirely fossil-based nylon inputs.
How is bio-based PA56 different from recycled nylon?→
Bio-based PA56 and recycled nylon use different sourcing routes. Bio-based PA56 uses renewable feedstocks for part of its raw-material input, while recycled nylon is produced from recovered nylon waste. Neither term should be substituted for the other in garment labelling or marketing.
