An air-layer fabric uses a structured construction that creates space between its two surfaces. This internal layer gives A3481 more volume, cushioning and structural body than a conventional single-knit fabric while allowing it to remain flexible.
A3481 combines a substantial 380 g/m² weight with an air-layer construction and a soft, lofty hand feel. Compared with a thin compact knit, it provides greater body, coverage and thermal comfort for structured activewear.
A3481 is recommended for women’s leggings, fitted activewear jackets, zip-up training tops and structured athleisure garments. Its substantial air-layer construction is particularly suitable for designs requiring coverage, warmth and a fuller silhouette.
Yes. The internal air layer helps retain air and reduce rapid heat loss, providing more thermal comfort than many lightweight single-knit fabrics. Final warmth depends on garment design, wearing conditions and activity level.
Buyers should confirm the colour, cloud-soft hand feel, air-layer structure, nominal weight, 160 cm nominal width, usable width, stretch, recovery, coverage, pilling resistance and dimensional stability. A finished leggings or jacket sample should be evaluated, and an approved physical sample should be retained as the bulk and repeat-order quality reference.
