A3242 combines PA66 nylon, LYCRA® elastane and a double-sided brushing process. The brushed surfaces provide a softer, warmer and more comfortable touch, while the stretch construction supports flexible movement and a close-to-body fit.
LYCRA® elastane supports stretch, freedom of movement and fit retention in close-fitting garments. Final stretch and recovery performance also depends on the fabric construction, garment pattern and manufacturing process.
No. At approximately 200 g/m², A3242 maintains a flexible, close-fitting construction. The fine brushed finish enhances softness without turning the fabric into a heavy thermal or fleece-backed material.
Buyers should evaluate the approved sample for surface softness, brushing uniformity, colour appearance and hand feel on both sides. If the brushed finish is a key requirement, an approved physical sample should be retained as the bulk production reference.
Lead time depends on colour availability, order quantity, lab-dip approval, finishing requirements and testing needs. Custom colours and additional performance testing may require more time than orders using available colours.
