An air-layer double-knit fabric uses two knitted surfaces with internal space between them. This three-dimensional construction provides more volume, cushioning and shape than a conventional single-knit jersey while retaining the flexibility required for activewear.
A3218 is lightweight in comparison with heavier air-layer fabrics, rather than being an ultra-light jersey. At 250 g/m², it still provides practical body and coverage but feels less bulky than heavier air-layer constructions intended for substantial leggings or jackets.
A3218 is recommended for yoga leggings, sports bras, fitted training tops, lightweight joggers and indoor fitness apparel. Its air-layer construction can also support coordinated sets requiring more shape than conventional lightweight jersey.
Yes. Buyers can request available swatches or sample yardage to assess the double-sided appearance, softness, drape, weight, stretch, recovery and sewing performance. A finished garment prototype is recommended to evaluate seam bulk, silhouette and wearing comfort.
Buyers should provide the selected colour, estimated quantity, garment application, required recycled-content documents, testing standards, destination and delivery schedule. They should also state whether they need sample yardage, custom dyeing or a Transaction Certificate so MOQ, price and lead time can be calculated accurately.
