A2980 combines a relatively light 160 g/m² construction with 20% spandex and a soft next-to-skin surface. Compared with heavier nylon fabrics developed mainly for supportive leggings, it provides lower garment bulk and greater versatility for sports bras, vests and lightweight activewear.
A2980 is recommended for sports bras, training vests, fitted activewear tops, lightweight leggings and women’s training pants. Buyers should evaluate coverage and support separately for tops and bottoms because each garment type has different performance requirements.
At approximately 160 g/m², A2980 creates a lightweight garment with reduced bulk and flexible drape. It is well suited to sports bras and fitted tops.
Yes. Buyers can request available swatches or sample yardage to assess the double-sided appearance, softness, drape, weight, stretch, recovery and sewing performance. A finished garment prototype is recommended to evaluate seam bulk, silhouette and wearing comfort.
Buyers should confirm the colour, hand feel, nominal weight, usable width, lengthwise and crosswise stretch, recovery, opacity and required support level. Pilling, dimensional stability, colourfastness and seam performance should be tested according to the intended garment, and an approved physical sample should be retained as the bulk inspection reference.
