A2471 uses a closely spaced ribbed texture that adds subtle surface definition without creating an excessively bold pattern. It gives activewear a refined, structured appearance and offers a more tactile alternative to smooth nylon-spandex fabric.
A2471 is recommended for activewear pants, sports tank tops and fitted jackets. Its combination of fine texture, high stretch and substantial weight allows brands to develop coordinated tops, bottoms and outer layers with a consistent ribbed appearanc
The fine-rib structure allows the surface to expand flexibly with body movement while adding texture, body and gentle support. It also helps the fabric conform to the body and recover toward its original shape, making A2471 suitable for close-fitting activewear that requires both mobility and a structured appearance.
The approved sample should be retained as the reference for colour, rib definition, hand feel, weight, usable width, stretch and recovery. Acceptable tolerances should be agreed before production, and repeat-order dye lots should be checked against the original colour standard.
Buyers should provide the selected colour, estimated quantity, intended garment, required performance tests, delivery destination and target schedule. For custom colours, a Pantone reference or physical colour standard should also be supplied.
