A double-sided ribbed stripe fabric has a defined linear texture rather than a completely flat surface. A2283’s construction gives the fabric visual depth and a more structured appearance while maintaining the flexibility required for close-fitting activewear.
Unlike smooth nylon-spandex jersey, A2283 uses raised ribbed stripes to create visible texture and greater surface definition. This allows brands to add design interest without relying on printing, while its 25% spandex content supports flexible body movement.
A2283 is recommended for activewear pants, yoga leggings, fitted sports vests, crop tops, cycling shorts, lightweight stretch jackets and coordinated studio-wear sets. Its textured surface can also be used for contrast panels, waistbands and garment details.

Yes. Buyers can request available swatches or sample yardage to assess the double-sided appearance, softness, drape, weight, stretch, recovery and sewing performance. A finished garment prototype is recommended to evaluate seam bulk, silhouette and wearing comfort.
