Unlike a uniformly smooth fabric, A3090 has a visible ribbed texture that adds surface definition and helps activewear stand out without printed graphics. Its 220 g/m² construction also provides more body than lightweight jersey fabrics.
A3090 is recommended for activewear pants, sports tank tops and fitted jackets. It can be used across coordinated tops, bottoms and outer layers to create an activewear collection with a consistent ribbed appearance.
Yes. The direction and alignment of the ribs can influence the appearance of seams and garment panels. Cutting markers should keep the rib direction consistent, particularly across centre seams, side panels and matching top-and-bottom sets.
Buyers should provide the selected colour, estimated quantity, intended garment, required performance tests, delivery destination and target schedule. If custom dyeing is required, a Pantone reference or physical colour standard should also be supplied.
The approved sample should be retained as the reference for colour, rib definition, hand feel, weight, width, stretch and recovery. Buyers can also specify acceptable tolerances and inspection requirements before production begins.
